Activating a Remote Desktop License Server by Telephone:

1. Open Remote Desktop Licensing Manager:

   • Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Licensing Manager.

2. Start the Activate Server Wizard:

   • Right-click the desired license server and select Activate Server.
   • Click Next to proceed.

3. Choose Telephone as the connection method:

   • On the Connection Method page, select Telephone from the list and click Next.

4. Select your country/region:

   • On the Country or Region Selection page, choose your location and click Next to view the appropriate support number.

5. Contact Microsoft:

   • Call the displayed number and provide the Product ID shown on your screen.
   • Share your name and company details when requested.

6. Enter the license server ID:

   • After receiving the ID from the support representative, enter it on the License Server Activation page and click Next to complete activation.

7. Finalize or install licenses:

   • On the last page, choose to:
     • Install Remote Desktop Services CALs immediately by leaving the Start Install Licenses Wizard now checkbox selected and following the instructions.
     • Install licenses later by clearing the checkbox and clicking Finish.

Ensure you’re using the correct program version when redeeming your code.
